Painter Yevgeniya Leybel

     Yevgeniya Leybel (engl.: Eugenia Leibel) was born in 1940, lived and worked in the Ukraine, since 1999 lives and works in Germany. Her style is expressive realism.

Personal exhibitions (principal):

1998 – Ukranian Cultural Centre in Kharkov;

1999 – International Centre in Dresden;

2000 – Cultural centre “Hatikva” in Dresden;

2001 – Cultural Palace and Creative Studio in Dresden;

2002 – Church of our Lady in Meissen, Jewish Centre and City archive of Dresden;

2004 – Church of the Cross in Dresden (with three other painters), Cultural Centre in Dessau and Parliament of the federal state Saxony-Anhalt (participation in the exhibition);

2005 – Jewish Centre and church of Prohlis in Dresden;

2006-2007 – Church of St. John in Dresden;

since 2008 – Leybel-gallery in Dresden.
